Finding the clinic

Our main clinic is at Suite 4, 36 Woodriff St Penrith which is located on the corner of Woodriff Street and Lethbridge Street. Access to the building is via Lethbridge St and there is free 1 and 2 hour street parking directly outside the building.

Our therapists also work out of the following medical centres:

  • Healthsmart Medical Centre - Located at Nepean Village Shopping Centre, Penrith

  • Cambridge Park Doctors - Located at 104 Oxford St, Cambridge Park

You will receive a text reminder the day before your appointment which will confirm the time and location of your appointment.

What do I need to bring to the appointment?

Any medical information that would be helpful for your therapist such as a doctor’s referral, any reports relating to the injury or scans you have done on the injured area would help with your therapist’s assessment and treatment.
If your injury is work-related or a result of a motor vehicle accident and you are covered by WorkCover or CTP insurance, you will also be required to provide details such as your claim number, insurance company and any contact details relating to the management of your claim.

It is also recommended that you wear clothes that are loose-fitting and easy to move around in just in case your therapist needs to perform a movement assessment.

Do I need a referral?

A referral to see any of our therapists is not necessary, however, you may be entitled to bulk-billed consultations through Medicare if your GP has referred you under a Chronic Disease Management Care Plan. If your treatment is being funded by WorkCover or CTP insurance schemes, you will also require a referral from your doctor.

What can I expect from my first physio appointment?

Your Physiotherapist will discuss your injury, including anything specific you are struggling with or would like to return to. Your physio will undertake a thorough physical assessment to come up with a diagnosis or reason you are experiencing your pain. After your assessment is completed, your physio will treat the injured area and any other parts of the body which may be contributing to your pain. Treatment can include manual therapy, stretching, strengthening exercises and tips on how best to manage your symptoms on your own. You will then work with your physiotherapist to plan how you can return to doing the things you love as quickly as possible.

Is there anything I can do to prepare for my appointment?
